On a shelf stood a thermos bottle Mr. Mizoguchi brought back from his home in Seno a couple of days ago. He returned with it filled with matcha* stating the vitamin C would be good for me. Drinking some of that tea brought back memories of better days. Even the broken tea cup and the old hashi with which I stirred the tea could not mar its flavor or aroma. The memory of it was still in my mind this morning and caused me to think of my home and the tea cups I had had before the bombing. Such thoughts made me sad.
